With Christmas just three days away, we thought we’d share some of our favorite Christmas songs to get into the spirit this year! Here are the top 10 Christmas songs of all time:
10. Why’d You Leave Me On Christmas – B2K
To start the list off, we have the heartthrobs of the early 2000s with their hit song from their Christmas album, Santa Hooked Me Up. Although it isn’t typically what you’ll listen to on Christmas, it’s still a hit that’ll have you in your feels on the day.
9. Have A Very Merry Christmas – TLC
Along with some of the earlier hits, the Crazy, Sexy, Cool trio will definitely give some Christmas vibes with their hiphop and r&b carols from their Christmas album, Sleigh Ride. Their hit song is definitely great to get into the spirit while dancing around the house and opening presents.
8. 8 Days of Christmas – Destiny’s Child
What’s a Christmas list without the famous “8 Days of Christmas” by Destiny’s Child? The trio is great to listen to when you’re waking up and just about to open those presents from bae or even drop a hint as to what you want. Or you can just want something to dance around the house to it but either way, it’s a lit Christmas 😉
7. Let It Snow – Boyz II Men
Speaking of bae and some romance, *eye emoji*, the classic song by the 90’s soulful boy band its great to listen to when “it’s cold outside but the fire’s blazin'” and you want to get your romance on with some hot cocoa.
6. All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey
We just had to add this classic Christmas carol to the list. It doesn’t even have to be Christmas for this to be a hit. You can sing this with bae while doing karaoke or just sing it Christmas morning while the family is rolling in, either way it’s the life of the party.
5. Give Love On Christmas Day – Jackson 5
Do we really need to explain why this classic is on the list? If you know R&B and Christmas then you know the Jackson 5 Christmas album is THE album to have in rotation on Christmas *praise hands emoji*
4. Who Would Imagine A King? – Whitney Houston
What’s Christmas without this classic from the movie, The Preacher’s Wife. Whitney Houston sang this along with some kiddies during the Christmas play scene in the movie and we loved it ever since. Don’t you want to watch the movie now?
3. Mary Did You Know – Cee Lo Green
To add a little Gospel-Soul to this R&B list, Cee Lo Green’s “Mary Did You Know” from his Christmas album, Magic Moment, makes number 3. Cee Lo reminds us what’s Christmas is all about with this one. It’s a must-listen on Christmas and must be in the rotation for the family to listen to.
2. I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus – Jackson 5
Another Jackson 5 song that must be in the rotation on Christmas Day is this classic right here. This song will start a karaoke moment with the fam and have everyone rushing under the mistletoe. Trust me, it’s incredible.
1. Someday At Christmas – Stevie Wonder
And the number one Christmas song to have in rotation is the classic Stevie Wonder song, “Someday At Christmas”. This song provides hope and love throughout the season of giving and it is wonderful. Especially since it has been a rough year for most, we need a little reminder that it all get better someday.
