As we all know, it was a shocking time to learn that Tamar Braxton was leaving The Real. We all had (and probably still have) questions about why she was leaving and who was going to replace her.
Back in August, The Shade Room reported that a source revealed that the producers of The Real considered Eve, Ashanti, Mel B, and Monica to be Tamar’s replacement. Fortunately, the producers decided to keep with the remaining co-hosts: Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon.
Well now, starting November 1st, The Real will have some very great guest co-hosts for the month.
According to People.com , Eve, Ashanti, Monica, and Angela Simmons will be joining the cast of The Real for a very fun time.
Now you may be wondering why does this matter? Well, while it may seem innocent, it may not be (yall know how television marketers do *sneaky face emoji*).
As you may recall, Monica, Eve, and Ashanti were considered for the job in the first place. And, both Angela Simmons and Monica have had hosting jobs before; and Monica was on the show at the start of 3rd Season. So if the producers were to choose one of these two to become a permanent co-host, it wouldn’t be a bad idea.
So, with all that being said, could this be their way of seeing who the audience will like more as a permanent co-host? Or is it just a way for these guest hosts to market their work?
What do you think?
